All you’ll need is some strong rope and a plank of wood – you could even use a thick stick if you have one lying around. If you’re up for more a challenge, you could look at building a more sophisticated seat, or try your hand at a full tree house.
For something a little less active but still want to turn your garden tree into a centrepiece, try crafting a bench area that surrounds it. You can add cushions to create a cosy reading area, or turn it into a play bench for the little ones so they can enjoy the garden without you having to worry about too much sun exposure.
