If you have missed a payment or have found yourself in financial difficulty due to the coronavirus and need to discuss your circumstances, please complete our loan repayment form so we can  provide you with the right support.

Make a payment

If the amount is affordable for you and you are in the position to do so, you can make payments to your account using our online system. Simply click here to log onto your MyHPF account and choose ‘Make a Payment’.

I am not able to make my payment at this time

Once we have an understanding of the reason you have fallen into arrears and your current circumstances, we will look to offer the most suitable option for you. We can put a payment arrangement in place that is affordable for you. We may ask for information about your financial situation to ensure we put the most suitable arrangement in place.

If you are in a position of financial difficulties, we may signpost you to a free debt charity called Step Change. They can offer you confidential advice and practical help.

I have had a change in circumstances and I am struggling with my finances

Can I place my account on hold whilst I sort out my finances?

My payment is due soon by Direct Debit but I don’t have sufficient funds in the bank. What should I do?

Please contact our Collections Team on 0344 375 5488 to discuss your circumstances to find the best option moving forwards.

I cancelled my Direct Debit as I did not recognise the name Hitachi Capital. What should I do?

Don't worry, we can re-instate your Direct Debit Instruction. Please call us on 0344 375 5488 to arrange an alternative payment method for this month’s payment and to bring up to date any missed payments. We will then re-instate your Direct Debit to start from the following month.

I am now dealing with a Debt Management Company, will I have to communicate with both of you separately?

No, once you have provided the name of the firm acting on your behalf and the client reference number, our Financial Solutions Team will deal directly with the external company.

I am entering Insolvency (IVA, Trust Deed, and Bankruptcy), who do I need to contact?

The Legal and Administration Department on 0344 375 5503 or email legalandadmin@hitachicapital.co.uk. Please provide the name of the firm acting on your behalf and relevant reference number.

The account holder has passed away, how do I inform Hitachi Capital?

Please provide a copy of the death certificate to legalandadmin@hitachicapital.co.uk or post a photocopy to Hitachi Capital, 2 Apex View, Leeds, LS11 9BH.

Please include the relevant agreement number(s) should you have access to these for reference.

I am in an IVA/Trust Deed and have received an Arrears Notice, should I still be receiving correspondence of this nature?

Yes, Hitachi Capital are required to send the relevant statutory notices to you and these are just for information purposes. You will receive a six monthly Arrears Notice along with an Annual Statement and until your Insolvency has completed.

If you are still receiving Arrears Notices after the completion of your IVA/Trust Deed, please contact the Legal and Admin Dept. on 0344 375 5503 or email legalandadmin@hitachicapital.co.uk.
